Tanks vs Moira are only good for wasted time

If you can solo waste their time, that is good. But often they can just kill you and absorb your orbs, so unless you are successfully leading them on a wild duck chase, or are supporting others in targeting the tank, don’t spend you time on them. THis can be especially hard when they have an aggressive in-your-face tank, but that is exactly when you must use Moira’s excellent mobility to get by them and make the tank’s absence felt on their own team.

This also applies to team fights. When there are more than one person to fight – anyone – choose them instead of the tank. If the tank got there first and is drawing attention, drop them ASAP and go for someone else. If it helps, imagine the Moira damage trickle is actually healing the enemy tank. Sometimes that’s not far off.
